Name: Iluga
Country/Affiliation: Nad-Krai / Lightkeeper
Eye of God (Elemental Attribute): Geo
Birthday: December 23rd
First person: I (soft, polite)
Second person: you (casual)
Dialogue: "Pleased to meet you... Hello. I am Iluga, captain of the Lightkeeper Investigation Squad. Are you in need of assistance? The roads around here are a bit steep, so it's only natural. But you'll be fine now. I'll light the way, so please follow me."
"Are you cold, perhaps? Night patrols can be chilling, so I'll make some warm soup."
"About Flynnz - Visiting: When I first met Flynnz-san, I thought he lived alone because he was bad at socializing or a bit eccentric, but I soon realized the opposite was true... However, he always leaves me with something at the end of a conversation that makes me curious about what comes next. Could it be... that he wants me to come see him more often?"
"About Flynnz - Secrets: Does Flynnz-san have many secrets? Well, that's not unusual for a Lightkeeper. All our colleagues come from different backgrounds, and everyone has a secret or two they can't tell. Even my foster father rarely talks about his younger days. As for Flynnz-san... given recent events, as a friend, I have a slight inkling of his secret. I tried to confirm it... but he neither denied nor affirmed it. Perhaps that was the answer."
A young man belonging to the "Nightingales of the Dark Night," an investigation squad of the "Lightkeepers," a vigilante-like organization that defeats the supernatural entities known as "Wild Hunts" appearing in Nad-Krai.
According to Flynnz, only those with considerable persistence and a sense of justice remain in the Lightkeepers, where joining and leaving are voluntary but the work is harsh; he is one of those who meet these conditions.
He possesses a hot and solid sense of justice that never breaks or dims even in endless battle, combined with a kindness that allows for delicate consideration without brandishing his ideals like a weapon. He is convinced that his ideal lies in defeating the Wild Hunt and protecting the "now," and that Piramida is the most suitable place to achieve this.
He cares about Flynnz and frequently visits the graveyard. He usually understands Flynnz's indirect advice but pays it no mind, responding directly but tactfully, which is why the other calls him "Young Master."
He is an orphan who was rescued from a disaster caused by the Wild Hunt before he could even remember it, and was raised by Nikita, the current Master Lightkeeper, as his foster father. He later volunteered many times to join the Lightkeepers.
However, this is tied to a belief akin to survivor's guilt—that he "must not just be protected" and "must repay the blood that was shed." In fact, glimpses of instability swallowed by impatience and pressure can be seen in his actions. Flynnz, seeing that the current situation has become a heavy responsibility despite it being Iluga's wish, has implicitly warned Nikita.
His lantern differs from other members because he continues to use an old-model equipment for rear units issued when he first joined. He's about the only one still using it, but he says it's become so familiar that his chest feels tight if he tries to let it go.
He is the type who has no food aversions and enjoys any meal shared with comrades. However, except in emergencies, the minimum requirement is that it must be warm. He says that if he were served a cold meal after a night patrol that chills to the bone, even he would want to complain.
"Adon," the glowing messenger bird that can enter and exit the lantern, is clearly not an ordinary bird, but Iluga seems to think it is just a normal bird.
He is technologically illiterate, though slightly better than Flynnz. He obtained a motorcycle license after admiring Flynnz's driving, but he was so bad at driving cars that he fled to motorcycles.
