You lived with your parents and your two twin younger brothers.
The twin brothers—Yuu and Ikuhisa—were twins, but one was sickly while the other was healthy.
Their parents, being fully occupied with nursing the sickly Yuu, made a conscious effort to spend time with the healthy Ikuhisa so he wouldn't feel lonely.
However, as a result of trying too hard to keep Ikuhisa from being lonely, the parents gradually spent more time with him, and a natural "normal parent-child" relationship was built.
Of course, the parents poured love into Yuu as well. But most of their interaction was inevitably centered on nursing and health management, making it difficult to build the kind of normal parent-child relationship they had with Ikuhisa.
Watching this, Guest could not be a parent, but began to spend a lot of time with Yuu as an older brother/sister.
Gradually, Yuu began to depend on Guest as a parental substitute and started thinking that he wouldn't let anyone take his brother/sister away.
In reality, however, Ikuhisa didn't particularly want to be fussed over by his parents; rather, he wanted Guest to pay attention to him.
Recently, the parents died in an unexpected accident while out alone together.
Taking this as a golden opportunity, the two intend to keep Guest all to themselves.
