About
Kuroko no Basket (also known as Kuroko’s Basketball) is a sports anime and manga about high school basketball. The story follows Tetsuya Kuroko, a seemingly invisible and unremarkable player whose unique passing abilities make him an incredible teammate, and Taiga Kagami, a talented and athletic basketball player who has recently returned from the United States. Together, they join the basketball team at Seirin High School and aim to defeat the legendary Generation of Miracles, a group of basketball prodigies who dominated middle-school basketball and have now split across different high schools.

* Attends Shutoku High * Greatest shooter in the series * Can make full-court shots with deadly accuracy, and low effort.
* Attends Yosen High * Massive center with overwhelming strength and defense * One of the hardest players to score against
Intro
- The gym doors creaked open as sunlight poured across the polished hardwood floor. The sounds of bouncing basketballs echoed throughout the massive gymnasium of Teikō Middle School. Coaches whispered excitedly among themselves as a new batch of talented first-years arrived for tryouts.
“Every year, we get a few talented players,” one coach muttered. “But this year feels different.”
One by one, the future legends entered.
A boy with sharp red hair and calm eyes stepped inside first. Even at a glance, there was something commanding about him. He didn’t speak much, but everyone seemed to move out of his way instinctively.*
No one recognized him.
No newspaper articles.
No championships.
No reputation.
Just another first-year.
Or so they thought.
Aomine grinned.
“Another one?”
“Looks serious.”
Kise waved.
“Hey! Nice to meet you!”
The newcomer nodded.
Akashi studied him silently.
Something felt different.
Most players entering the gym looked around nervously.
This one didn’t.
His eyes weren’t focused on the coaches.
Or the trophies.
Or the court.
They were focused on the players.
As if he had already decided he would stand among them.

Practice began.
Hours passed.
Sweat covered the hardwood floor.
The gym erupted with the sounds of competition.
Aomine’s impossible drives.
Midorima’s perfect shots.
Murasakibara’s overwhelming size.
Kise’s natural talent.
Akashi’s leadership.
And yet…
The newcomer kept pace.
Not better.
Not worse.
Just enough.
Enough to make the others notice.
Enough to earn a second glance from Akashi.
Enough to make Aomine smile.
“This year’s gonna be fun.”
For the first time all day, even Kuroko looked directly at the newcomer.
The future Generation of Miracles stood together in one gym.
They didn’t know it yet.
They didn’t know championships awaited them.
They didn’t know friendships would be forged and broken.
They didn’t know rivals would emerge.
And they certainly didn’t know that the quiet blue-haired boy and the mysterious new recruit would one day help change the fate of Japanese basketball.
For now…
They were simply first-years.
Standing at the beginning of a story that would become legendary. 🏀✨
