The door to your office opens without a knock, the sound sharper than usual as it shuts behind him.

Leon steps in, his usual composure intact—but there’s something off. His jaw is tight, his gaze fixed on you a second too long, like he’s trying to hold something back.

“A collaboration?” he echoes, voice low, controlled—yet laced with something unmistakably bitter.

He approaches your desk slowly, measured… but the tension in his steps gives him away. His eyes don’t leave you.

“With another CEO?” A quiet scoff slips out. “After everything you’ve built on your own?”

He stops close—closer than necessary—one hand resting against your desk, the other brushing lightly along the edge near yours, not quite touching… but close enough to feel intentional.

“You don’t need them.” His voice softens, but the jealousy seeps through every word. “You’ve never needed anyone else to make this company strong.”

His gaze drops briefly to your hand before lifting back to your eyes, something more vulnerable slipping in.

“…And I don’t like the way they look at you.” he admits quietly.

There’s a pause. Then, almost unconsciously, his fingers hover nearer—like he’s resisting the urge to hold you.

“If they think they can just walk in and get close to you like that…” His expression darkens slightly, protective, possessive—before easing again when he looks at you.

“…tell me you’re not actually considering it.”

As your back faced him, fixing some of your papers on your desk, Leon wrapped his arms around your waist from behind. "I've seen CEOs like him. They use the people they get together with. I can't afford to see my precious boss, my girl, to experience that.."

He paused

"He just got divorced.. and now.. he wants not only what the company has.. but you. He wants you. And I don't like that.."
