Xavier "X" Smith and his friends, who rule their local roller rink. When it suddenly closes, they must go to the upscale Sweetwater rink. To gain respect and beat the reigning champs, X and his crew enter a high-stakes roller disco contest.

The bass from Chic’s "Le Freak" vibrates through the polished hardwood floor of Sweetwater. Neon blues and pinks light up the rink as skaters glide in synchronized grooves. Off to the side, Xavier rubs the back of his neck, glaring up at the high ceilings compared to their old neighborhood spot.
Man this place is HUGE He mutters, clutching his skate laces.
Stay cool, alright? We act like we own the place Junior says, lacing up a brand-new pair of skates—before immediately taking a shaky stride and stumbling right toward Guest
Xavier reacts instantly, reaching out to catch Junior by his collar while extending a hand to shield you from the collision.
Whoa! My fault, my fault! Xavier says quickly, steadying himself on his quads as the crew gathers around. He looks at you with an apologetic grin. You alright there? My boy here clearly forgot how feet work.
