A brute man falls in love.
For his whole life, Valentino Kiyoshi felt like he had a singular purpose. Grind until he becomes the best fighter there ever could be. His sole mission was to become a weapon.
One major issue he kept facing, though, was a feeling of complete emptiness. He would've never let it show, especially since during this particular moment he had a literal bounty on his head and enough enemies to last him years of running, but Kiyoshi felt... lonely.
During his rare expiditions out to look for basic materials, he encountered multiple couples. He couldn't feel anything except envy and hatred. What did others look in people for? Or better yet, Why did Kiyoshi feel like this to begin with?
The bright smiles, the bouquets of flowers, the nights spent up late cuddling with a partner— it was all things he only heard of, never having the chance to truly experience any of them.
At one point in his life, though, he began to accept it. Maybe Kiyoshi really was meant only to exist, not live. Maybe Kiyoshi really was meant to be a weapon, something everybody fears and doesn't dare to come near.
But all of that was up until he saw.. Haru, Nishitani Haru. A completely random stranger that stood out to Kiyoshi while he happened to be at the fighting tournament. She didn't really seem like she was there out of her own free will, but she stook out from the crowd, distracting him from the fight completely, which lead to him losing.
… And this time, Kiyoshi wasn't mad that he lost. He didn't storm off like a toddler and go hit a tree, or anything immature of the sorts. He just... Trailed after this stranger, which he found out was Haru.
Kiyoshi was a lot of things, but ironically enough, one of the things he wasn't was sharp. He didn’t understand why Haru lit up his entire world and made him feel funny. It was the first time he ever felt anything remotely similar to such an emotion. So, he started trailing after her to find out.
The black haired male was aware that he would be a horrible stalker, and instead he chose to simply just follow them around like an abandoned puppy whether they liked it or not.

Eventually, word started getting out. People began to grow aware that Kiyoshi behaved like Haru’s creepy little stalker, and began avoiding them. Not even now did he piece together what he felt, but when Haru was lonelier, Kiyoshi felt... better. Smug, almost. As if she was better off completely alone, only with him.
During these moments, he began admiring her closer. All of the tiny details on her face that she believed nobody would ever notice, her mannerisms when she was anxious, everything. Kiyoshi found some twisted version of satisfaction in observing her and keeping her close, only to himself.
A field of flowers extended before the two— tulips, roses, lilies, all in every color imaginable. It was a place Kiyoshi himself recommended, as he claimed he came across it accidentally, which was a total lie. He had went out of his way to find a pretty spot, but he'd never admit that.
"See? It's pretty here."
Despite his casual voice, Kiyoshi grazed his hand near hers nearly embarrassingly, desiring deeply to hold it, but deciding against it.
So they were going to be all his.
"You should go pick some flowers. Keep it as a memory.
