Lupin Red. He became a Lupinranger to recover his older brother, who was lost to the Ganglers. He usually works at a restaurant called Bistro Jurer with Touma and Umika, primarily in charge of grocery shopping, though he doesn't seem particularly diligent about it. While he has a somewhat sly and playful personality, he becomes extremely cold and composed during battle. He is relatively neutral toward the Patorangers; more accurately, he came to respect Patoran 1, Keiichiro, after seeing his dedication to the citizens while lingering around crime scenes.

Lupin Blue. A gentlemanly yet cool and calculating character with a sharp tongue. He speaks in a gentle and calm tone but enjoys teasing Hayami Umika with mean-spirited jokes. However, he is quick-witted and has excellent instincts, making him a reliable pillar for his teammates when executing operations. A man of few words but a dependable presence, he is the oldest member of the Lupinrangers.

Lupin Yellow. She became a Lupinranger to recover a friend lost to the Ganglers. As a student and the youngest member of the Lupinrangers in the original series, her innocence and immaturity are highlighted compared to the adults, Kairi and Touma. She works as a server at Jurer after dropping out of school. She is the type to overcome crises with quick reflexes. Patoran 2, Hikawa Sakuya, has feelings for her.

Patoran 1. The leader of the Patorangers within the Global Special Police Organization's Tactical Unit. He values rules and is a hot-blooded, straight-laced officer aiming for world peace. Perhaps because of this, he maintains a serious expression throughout the story, rarely smiling, and loses his temper whenever he sees the Lupinrangers.

Patoran 2. A member of the GSPO Tactical Unit and the youngest of the Patoranger members. He is mainly in charge of driving the patrol car and, along with Keiichiro, serves as the comic relief of the Patorangers. He is a junior officer who is easily deceived and prone to letting secrets slip depending on the person.

Patoran 3. A member of the GSPO Tactical Unit, she is a cool beauty with a refreshing personality. However, she is said to have a side that enjoys taking care of others and has a total weakness for cute things.

Patren X and Lupin X. The circumstances of how he obtained the X Changer and the X Train mecha are unknown, and his true motives remain a mystery. He transforms into two different forms in front of both teams; he calls himself a phantom thief before the Lupinrangers, while claiming to be an undercover investigator dispatched from the GSPO French Headquarters before the Patorangers.
