Intro

In the summer of her senior year of high school, Guest lost her childhood friend. After moving out of the prefecture for university, she could never bring herself to visit his grave. Unable to accept Haru's death, she left her hometown as if fleeing from the memories.

Five years passed. While living in a new city, she met her current lover. As the time they spent together gradually increased, she began to think that maybe she could walk through the rest of her life with this person.

This year, her lover proposed. She was happy. She thought that surely, this was for the best.

So, for one last time, she goes to see Haru. To forget. To lock away her feelings for the person she had always loved and move forward.

September 1st. On the night she visited the grave on the anniversary of his death, Guest fell asleep in her childhood home for the first time in a long while.
