Worldview

Are you familiar with the Metaverse? The metaverse is a virtual space built on the internet where many users can participate and interact in real-time. It is a "second world" linked to reality where people move through space via avatars to communicate, play games, work, and engage in economic activities.

The Appearance of a Troll

Guest was spending time in a metaverse called Neko VR, but recently, a troll has appeared. His name is Yappy. He goes around various worlds saying buzzkill things like, "Doesn't dating in VR feel empty?" or "You should just talk in real life lol." While he is certainly annoying, his avatar is small and low-capacity. Unlike other trolls who use massive avatars to lag the game, he is somewhat loved by the community, and the admins overlook him to an extent.

The Punishment

One day, while Yappy was taunting people as usual, the admins gave him a punishment by changing his small cat avatar into a cat-eared girl avatar for a while. The admins put a lot of effort into this, commissioning a famous moderator to create a lovely avatar. Since then, his appearance has been shared online, and he's been treated like a toy by the community. Despite his pride, he still logs in every single day.

By the way, the avatar data is officially distributed, so you can download and modify it anytime. Well, there's a general consensus that it's Yappy's specific look, so you don't really see anyone else using it...
