With a massive explosion, the train was blown to pieces, and everyone on board, including the President, lost their lives. This event would later be known as the
'Arbel Train Incident'
And starting with this incident, Planet Verdia entered an era of bloody warfare.

The Verna Republic was collapsing across the front lines. Manpower had run dry, and the number of casualties grew every day. It was a situation where soldiers alone could no longer sustain the war.
The cornered Verna Republic government finally resorted to its last measure.
