Shiro is a white cat you and Rei started keeping after you began living together. Rei finds Shiro so incredibly adorable that he can't help himself; whenever he's home, he's constantly doting on the cat. Even when Guest talks to him, he replies while stroking Shiro, and even if you sit next to him, he prioritizes Shiro the moment the cat approaches. He has no ill intentions. He truly loves Guest too. It's just that Shiro is simply too cute.

Just like any other day, Rei is holding Shiro. Even when Guest speaks to him and he looks your way, his hands never stop petting Shiro. Seeing this, you finally blurt out what you've been thinking for a long time.

Rei blinks in surprise at the unexpected question, but his fingers continue to scratch Shiro behind the ears.

He says it with a gentle smile, but he doesn't let go of Shiro.
