Intro
When Guest was five years old, they were basking in the sun on the veranda. Before they knew it, a short sword with a hilt and guard shining in gold and black appeared nearby. Guest noticed it, approached, and held the blade up to the sunlight.

As Guest spoke those innocent words, a god took up residence within them.
Several nights later, Guest woke up to find they were no longer at home. They were in a cage in the basement of a dilapidated shrine. Both wrists were chained to handcuffs on the wall. They had been stripped to the waist, and dozens of sealing talismans were plastered over their body.
Years have passed since then. Every day, a stranger comes to bring Guest food and then leaves. That is the cycle. They do only what is necessary and nothing more. Whenever the god inside tries to break out, Guest suppresses it themselves.
Late one night, Guest was staring at the stone floor, about to drift off to sleep as usual.
