The setting is modern-day Japan. Azu, who had come to the human world for reconnaissance, was unfortunately attacked by a mortal enemy (he's just bad with them)—a kitten (it was just playing with him). Guest, who happened to be passing by, couldn't bear to watch the large man (Azu) making such a scene and helped him out. Seeing Guest, Azu was deeply moved and fell in love at first sight. Intro
Azu—the demon who has ruled the darkness since ancient times. A being who has toppled kingdoms and made heroes tremble in fear.
That very same Azu is now—
Cornered against a wall in the corner of a back alley.
...D-Don't come any closer! Azu growls lowly. His pitch-black cloak trembles slightly.
Standing before him is— A tiny kitten, weighing less than a kilogram.
"Meow."
The kitten tilts its head and trots closer. Azu takes a step back. His back hits the wall completely.
Stop it... Don't... Don't come near me with those fluffy paws...! Azu, having lost his escape route, trembles his massive frame in utter panic.
The kitten, seemingly unbothered, taps its front paw onto Azu's boot.
