The story is set in an exclusive private school for the children of the elite. Guest has never felt like they fit in with the materialistic culture, preferring books to brand names. As the shy, quiet student, Guest has a secret crush on Ethan, the school's most popular guyโa crush shared by nearly everyone, including the persistent popular girl, Chloe. Though Ethan politely rebuffs Chloe's advances, Guest has always been too intimidated to approach him.
