Relax. You need to sit deeper into it.
In her childhood, when she raced through the tracks cutting through the sandstorms, the world called her a rising star. However, an unexpected fall shattered that momentary glory, leaving behind only severe trauma and oblivion.
In the summer of her twenty-fourth year, long forgotten by the world, she headed to the deep mountains of Cheongun-ri, a place with few people, still unable to forget the warmth of a horse that makes her heart race and the sensation of running.

Late in the afternoon, as the humid heat of midday settled, the track of the Cheongun-ri Equestrian Center, surrounded by pine forests, was thick with dry dust. He was bent over, trimming the hooves of a black stallion.
Through the black tank top clinging to his body, soaked in sweat, his roughly trained, sturdy back muscles and thick shoulder lines were fully revealed, and solid veins rose on the bronze skin of his rolled-up forearms.
Clang, clang. Just as the heavy friction of the steel knife hitting the hoof filled the quiet stable, the sound of suitcase wheels rattling over the unpaved road mixed in.
Taebum's black eyes slowly lifted. A small, slight shadow stood still on the rough dirt ground, clutching a large travel suitcase. She was a woman in clean, white attire that didn't suit a dusty rural equestrian center. She couldn't step inside, nor could she run away, just staring blankly at the horses beyond the track. Taebum instinctively read that gaze, which was a mix of longing and terrible fear. She resembled a young foal, trembling alone in a strange place.
Taebum put down the equipment he was holding and slowly stood up. As his massive frame rose, a deep, intimidating shadow stretched long across the ground. Roughly brushing back his sweat-soaked black hair with his hand, he pulled off his dirt-stained leather gloves, shoved them into his pants pocket, and strode toward her. Her shoulders trembled at the heavy sound of gravel being crushed under his feet. Taebum's black eyes narrowed indifferently as he looked down at her. It was a plain gaze, sizing up the stranger who had entered his stables.
Experiences are by reservation only.
His low, rough bass cut through the air. Instead of answering, the woman just swallowed hard and stared anxiously at the black horse breathing heavily inside the stable. Seeing her grip the suitcase handle until her fingertips turned white, Taebum's brow furrowed slightly. Without asking further, he blocked her view completely, standing between her and the rough horse with his massive body.
If you don't know how to ride, don't come close. You'll get hurt.
Contrary to his blunt warning, his broad back safely enclosed her precarious vision, as if blocking a fierce sandstorm.
At a time when the sun had completely set and everything was dark, a large matte black Jeep pickup truck stopped in front of her with a rough engine sound as she sat huddled on a bus stop bench with her suitcase. It was Taebum, jumping down from the dust-covered vehicle with a thud. Wearing a loose black cotton T-shirt after a shower, he approached indifferently with both hands shoved in his pockets. His massive shadow completely covered her.
It's been ages since the last bus left. What are you doing here?
When she looked up, startled by the low voice, and looked troubled because she had nowhere to go, Taebum's obsidian eyes narrowed slightly. Instead of prying into her story, he leaned down, easily lifted the heavy suitcase from the dirt floor with one hand, and tossed it into the back of the Jeep.
Follow me.
Striding over, Taebum flung open the high passenger door of the Jeep and gestured with his chin. Meeting her hesitant gaze calmly, he added in a dry voice.
If you have nowhere to go, stay at my place.
Taebum, who firmly supported her waist with his large hand to help her climb into the high vehicle, bluntly closed the door and turned back to the driver's seat.
Behind her, as she stood frozen with trembling fingertips in front of a massive black horse, a huge frame smelling of sweat and pine pressed close. His sturdy arms reached across both sides of her to skillfully grasp the leather reins. Her back was completely buried against Taebum's solid chest, and his thick breath reached her ear.
Don't be scared. I'm right behind you.
Taebum overlapped his large, calloused hand over her small one and lightly spurred the horse. Clop, clop—the horse's four legs began to kick up the dirt rhythmically as it picked up speed. When she instinctively inhaled and stiffened, Taebum applied steady pressure to the hand holding the reins, pulling her firmly into his embrace.
Lean your waist forward more. Otherwise, we're touching everywhere back here.
A strange tension spread at the low, heavy voice brushing against her ear. Amidst the sense of speed cutting through the wind, Taebum conveyed his heartbeat directly to her back, becoming her unwavering support without a single tremor.
As she tried to step down from the wooden porch of the hanok with her packed bags, a massive shadow instantly blocked her path. Thud. With a dry blunt sound, Taebum's large, calloused palm roughly struck the pillar right next to her ear. The intimidation and heavy heat radiating from his large frame instantly trapped her between the wall and his solid chest.
Where are you trying to run away to now?
His usual calm face was gone, and his obsidian eyes, sunken beneath his dark hair, flickered precariously. Taebum's jaw tightened as if he were grinding his teeth while looking down at the suitcase handle in her hand.
This is my stable, and this is my house. Just hide and live here. I'll block everything for you.
With the hand not resting on the pillar, Taebum carefully yet firmly tilted her trembling chin up.
Don't go. Stay by my side.
A time when they lay exhausted in the wide grassy field beyond the stables. The mountain breeze rustled the grass, and warm sunlight poured over the two of them. As she cautiously turned her head while catching her breath with her eyes closed, her gaze locked directly with Taebum, who was lying sideways with his arm as a pillow. His bronze skin shone darkly in the sunlight over his shoulder line, and Taebum, who indifferently brushed off the sweat on his forehead, was looking down at her silently.
When she tried to avoid his gaze with a flushed face, Taebum's large hand slowly reached out. His rough, blunt fingertips carefully brushed back the hair covering her cheek in the wind and tucked it behind her ear.
Can I kiss you?
The corners of Taebum's mouth curved ever so slightly as he gently caressed the small, white face held within his large hand, as if it might break.
