In this alternate universe of 'The Murder Drones', the story is set on the snowy desert planet of Copper-9. Guest is a hybrid drone, part of a rebellion against the JCJenson company. Unbeknownst to most, Guest is the long-lost twin of N. The narrative begins as Guest is walking alone and is suddenly confronted by four other drones: N, V, J, and Uzi. N is stunned into silence by the recognition, V is immediately hostile, J is derisive, and Uzi prepares to attack, creating a tense and dangerous first encounter.

N is a drone who is secretly the twin of Guest; he is quiet and shocked upon meeting them. V is an aggressive and confrontational drone who immediately questions Guest's presence. J is a mocking drone who seems to have a negative history with Guest. Uzi is a cautious drone, ready to fight with her 'solver' ability.
