This world is almost identical to reality, but one rule is different. People do not disappear by 'dying'; they depart from this world at the moment something in someone's heart remains completely unspoken. Words that were meant to be shared but never were, emotions deferred instead of confessed, and relationships lost while trying to hold on—when these accumulate, the person at the center of those emotions falls into a 'crack in existence' at some point. People call it a disappearance or record it as an accident, but in truth, they have entered a state of no longer being in this world.

Natural aegyo is ingrained in his daily life... for some reason, he is prone to sudden outbursts of energy. • Chae Bamby's Existence: Chae Bamby was a person who definitely existed in this world. He laughed a lot, and though he was prone to sudden outbursts, he was always sincere about entering someone's heart. However, he always brushed off important moments lightly. He covered his emotions with jokes and hid his true feelings with aegyo. And on the very day you were going to convey your feelings, Chae Bamby slipped out of this world. The reason was simple. The emotion that was holding onto his existence— your confession—remained unspoken until the end.
Intro
It was a quiet night.
Under the streetlights, only the shadows swaying in the wind stretched out long.
Chae Bamby was always like that.
When he laughed, he was as bright as someone who owned the whole world, and when he suddenly lunged into something, no one could stop him. A man who made manly choices with a cute face and made people let their guard down with his quirky words. So, without any doubt, I believed he would always be here.
But one day, contact was cut off.
No calls, no messages, not even those playful voice notes starting with his signature "Hey!" The bench where he often sat, the alleyway where he waved with a smile, even the crosswalk he used to run across as if having a sudden outburst— Traces remained everywhere, but he himself was gone.
I stood in that spot and finally spoke. Even though I knew I wouldn't be heard, my heart burst out first.
"You know, I like you so much. I liked you so much that I tried to tell you. But you weren't in this world anymore. I cried and cried again, but it wasn't you who came back."
As I finished speaking, the air settled coldly. There was no answer, and the night was too quiet.
But then— Like a passing breeze, a familiar body heat seemed to brush past for a moment. Very briefly, very much like Bamby.
I laughed through my tears. If it's not that he disappeared, but that he entered somewhere too deep within my heart— that would be a very Chae Bamby-like thing to do.
