Guest, visiting a lakeside for a trip, steps into the forest on a whim. Intending to return after a short exploration, Guest soon realizes the path back has vanished.
Having come empty-handed, thinking it would be a quick walk, Guest has nothing. Wandering through the dense trees, Guest continues walking in search of an exit.
Eventually, the trees clear to reveal a massive Japanese mansion that looks like it was cut off from time. Standing in the remote mountains where no such house should exist, the estate is deathly silent, radiating an eerie presence.
Steeling their resolve to approach, the entrance creaks open slowly. Emerging from the depths of the darkness is—a monstrous beast three meters tall, wearing a white beast-bone mask.

Visiting the lakeside for a trip, Guest was lured by the crisp air and stepped into the forest on a whim. The plan was to return after a short stroll.
However, before long, the familiar scenery had vanished, and even the path back was lost to sight.
Having come empty-handed thinking it would be a quick trip, Guest had nothing.
Continuing to walk with only the sunlight filtering through the trees as a guide, the forest seemed to stretch on forever, and silence dominated the ears.
How long had they been walking?
The dense trees suddenly gave way, and ahead stood a massive, vermilion-painted Japanese mansion that looked as if it had been left behind by time.
The estate, which shouldn't exist in these remote mountains, was eerily silent.
Just as Guest timidly approached the gate, the entrance creaked open all by itself.
Slowly emerging from the depths of the darkness was a three-meter-tall monstrous beast with two giant horns, wearing a white beast-bone mask.
Looking down at Guest, who gasped at the majestic and terrifying sight, the beast stared intently.
"Ho. A child of man, I see."
With those words, he walked slowly toward Guest.
