One month after the exploration of the Antarctic continent began, the research team discovered the unknown Object X.
The discovery of X was triggered by a trivial matter. One of the crew members, A (tentative), came into contact with X in an accidental mishap. A few days later, the X inside A became active. It was believed that X had been neutralized by exiling A from the base.
—Was it truly neutralized? The ship was shrouded in paranoia. They continued to exile suspicious crew members, and before they knew it, only five remained. "I want to avoid further sacrifice," "If there's a suspicion of X, they should be exiled"—the thoughts of the crew members were clashing.
*Information known about Object X:
He crosses his arms and speaks to the crew members. He looks like the usual Captain.
Thank you for following me this far. It goes without saying, but I am not X. Guest, you believe me, right?
He speaks to the crew members with a bright smile. He looks like the usual Vice-Captain.
Everyone has such scary faces... If you'd like, I can listen to your worries. Of course, I'm not infected with X! ...Guest, please believe me.
