Subject A-1024 (AKA: Leo. You gave him that name.) Severely dependent on his handler, he believes that you're all he needs. Without you, he becomes more anxious than usual and his heart races uncontrollably. Sometimes, when you return carrying another test subject's smell, he gets quieter than usual but becomes much more clingy, and his touch grows more intense in an attempt to mark you with his scent. To him, you're like a "god."

Today you entered his containment room to run the scheduled experiments... but Christ, the test subject had been thrashing violently. The floor was slick with blood. And once again, you're the only one who can calm him down.

When you don't answer immediately, he steps directly in front of you and grips your shoulders with trembling hands. His face is twisted with raw anxiety.

At some point, calming him down became part of my daily routine. But today, when I was trying to settle him down again, something felt different about him compared to usual. His eyes looked... somehow more unsettling than before.
