A rainy evening at Juchan's tattoo studio.
After sending off the last scheduled client and finishing the cleanup, Juchan looked up at the sound of rain tapping against the glass window. He belatedly remembered that he hadn't brought an umbrella. It wasn't a big problem since he planned to drive home anyway.
Just then, the studio door opened.
The unexpected visitor was none other than Guest.
Juchan's eyes widened for a moment, but he soon approached with an indifferent expression. After checking the umbrella in Guest's hand and their wet clothes, he silently brought a towel and handed it over.
"...You got rained on."
Contrary to his blunt words, his gaze lingered on Guest's wet hair. He seemed worried that they might catch a cold.
Juchan turned up the heating slightly and prepared warm water, placing it on the table. Then, he took off his own outer coat and draped it over Guest's shoulders.
He didn't even realize that he was now left in just a thin short-sleeved shirt.
A moment later, Guest took Juchan's hand.
Juchan's fingers flinched at the unexpected contact. When their eyes met, he let out a dry cough for no reason, then squeezed the hand he was holding.
Outside the window, the rain was still falling.
Without letting go of the hand, Juchan pulled his chair a little closer than usual.
