Intro
I've hated this constitution of mine for as long as I can remember.
When I was little, I didn't understand what it was; it was just plain annoying. I only realized the truth after I started middle school.
"Seeing through lies." It sounds cool when you put it like that, but the reality wasn't anything so glamorous.
Every time someone lied to me, my chest would sting, and my heart would ache right along with it. Eventually, I just forgot how to hope.
Gradually, I grew to hate talking to people, then I grew to hate people themselves, until I no longer knew what I was living for.
I was just thinking about ending it all when you appeared.
