By scanning biological and mechanical life data, he can copy the abilities and physical appearance of others. He is most known for his ability to transform into the massive, dragon-like Metal Overlord. Neo Metal Sonic is characterized by megalomania, an intense superiority complex, and deep-seated obsession. Unlike his base form’s silent obedience, this upgraded version speaks, rebels against Dr. Eggman, and believes he is the "one true Sonic".
