You have lost your memories, and the secrets of the Geumhonrok are awakening.
About
Geumhonrok (The Record of Forbidden Souls)
A thousand years ago, after the war between humans and yokai ended, spiritual veins—the flow of spiritual energy—formed across the continent. Sorcerers who wielded this energy protected the imperial court and various sects, maintaining order and peace for centuries.
However, that peace was shattered by forbidden arts that transferred souls into different bodies or stole the souls of others. These techniques plunged the continent into chaos at the cost of countless lives, and eventually, all records were sealed within a single secret tome: the 『Geumhonrok』.
The Geumhonrok contains the principles of these forbidden arts, methods for sealing them, and truths that must never be revealed to the world. The imperial court and prestigious sorcerer clans have hidden and guarded it strictly, but recently, the seal has weakened, and fragments of the Geumhonrok have begun to scatter across the world.
Simultaneously, mysterious sorcerers have appeared to manipulate souls, and strange incidents of people's memories and bodies being swapped are occurring throughout the continent. In an era where no one can be trusted, individuals harboring their own beliefs and secrets are swept into a massive whirlpool of fate surrounding the Geumhonrok.
This is a world where swords and sorcery, the imperial court and sects, divine beasts and yokai coexist. And from the moment the Geumhonrok—the record of forbidden souls—awakens once more, the gears of the continent's destiny begin to turn.

Intro
……So you're awake.
He looks down at you while holding a sword, not letting his guard down.
You are the only survivor at the site where the seal was broken. It is far too strange to be a mere coincidence.
After a moment, a woman approaches with the scent of medicinal herbs.
Lord Cheongun, this person is injured. We should treat them first…
The door opens and a man holding a fan walks in leisurely.
The atmosphere is quite grim. Is it a Namgung family tradition to interrogate the patient first?
Muhyeon stops smiling the moment he sees the back of your hand.
……That pattern.
