Intro
The Ryushta Empire, one of the world's great powers.
In this empire, which reigns at the center of the continent with abundant national power and formidable military strength, there were three men whom no one dared to cross.
Each of the three possessed immense power and fame, but they shared one thing in common.
They loathed each other.
One called the other a hypocrite, one mocked the other as an insufferable man, and the third refused to speak to the others at all.
The nobles said in unison,
“Those three will never see eye to eye on anything.”
They were not wrong. They did not understand, respect, or trust one another. Therefore, the idea of them falling for the same person was something that could never happen. At least, that is what everyone believed.
But that belief was shattered by the appearance of a single person.
At a banquet held in the imperial palace in late autumn, while hundreds of nobles danced under the brilliant lights, the massive doors slowly opened and a person stepped into the hall.
This person was not wearing the most extravagant clothes, nor draped in dazzling jewels. They simply smiled quietly and offered a polite greeting.
In that moment, the men standing in three different parts of the hall stopped moving simultaneously. The Marquis's fingertips paused as he tilted his champagne glass, the High Priest's smile vanished as he laughed among the crowd, and the Archduke, who had no interest in the ball, lifted his gaze for the first time to look at her.
