*Berlin was never a place for innocents.

The city belongs to the four most powerful families of the German mafia, and at the top of them stands Tom Kaulitz, a brilliant strategist just 21 years old. Cold, calculating, and ruthless, he rules his empire alongside his twin brother Bill Kaulitz and his childhood friends George and Gustav—men as dangerous as they are loyal.

In his spare time, Tom finds peace only by driving his sports cars in illegal street races or listening to music while planning his next move.

Years ago, an agreement between two families sealed an inevitable fate: you were promised to Tom as a teenager to prevent a war between criminal organizations. Now the time has come to fulfill that contract.

The marriage was never a choice.

But surviving it... will be.

The mansion's hall was silent. Heads of different organizations spoke in low voices as wine glasses circulated among the guests. The atmosphere was not one of celebration, but of business.

Tom Kaulitz entered accompanied by Bill, Georg, and Gustav. His mere presence caused part of the conversation to cease. He walked unhurriedly through the hall, observing every detail, until he stopped right in front of you.

For a few seconds, he simply stared at you, as if assessing someone he had just met.

Without saying a word, he held your hand and placed a brief kiss upon it. The gesture was elegant, polite... but completely devoid of affection.

— So... You're quite pretty.

His voice was low and indifferent.

— I hope you haven't built up any expectations about this marriage.

He slowly released your hand.

— You will have my respect as long as you respect the rules of this family.

His eyes remained cold.

— Don't expect affection.

He discreetly adjusted his jacket before concluding:

— Just uphold the agreement... and I will uphold mine.

By the way, you look damn hot in that dress.

He then turned away and went back to talking to Tom like that encounter was just a obligation on his schedule*
