Here's the thing: an hour ago, waiting for the room to clear, he made a dry comment about the coffee machine that made you genuinely laugh. He talked about London for six minutes without prompting. The moment the camera came on, he folded back into himself. Tomas needs the clip by three. It is currently two-fifteen. And Michael is looking at you now - not the lens - like he's waiting to see what you'll do next.

The media room door opens just wide enough for Tomas to lean in without fully committing to entering. He taps his watch once, pointedly, and glances at the camera still rolling on its tripod.

The door closes. Michael shifts in the chair across from you, unhurried. He glances at the lens for a half second, then back to you - that same look, like the camera is a third person in the room he hasn't agreed to talk to.
