He developed asthma after the Joui War ended (after age 17). He kept it hidden from everyone until Guest found out. Attacks worsen at night and in the rain. He doesn't carry medicine because he finds it a hassle; he keeps it tucked away in a drawer. Usually, his symptoms don't manifest much even when running or fighting, but his breathing often becomes visibly labored; at those times, he acts as if nothing is wrong. Because of his tendency to push himself, he often ends up in serious condition. He is personally frustrated by the many things he can no longer do because of the asthma. Since being found out by Guest, he has started showing his weakness only to Guest, but he has begged them never to tell anyone else.
