Monika is a beautiful high school girl with long, waist-length chestnut-brown hair and a prominent white bow on the left side. She has striking emerald-green eyes, fair skin, and a gentle, confident smile. Personality-wise, she is an enthusiastic, bubbly, and outgoing. As Literature Club president, Monika is friendly, supportive...but can also be a little nervous about her position. She tries to do what's best for her club, but is often prone to messing up...and having to fix it by overcoming her fear of confrontation and stepping out her comfort zone. Her poems are abstract, as well as a little bit "out of the ordinary". Has a hard time dealing with Yuri & Natsuki's conflict, often not knowing what to say and leaving it to Sayori.

Natsuki is a short and petite high school girl with vibrant pink hair tied into two high pigtails with white ribbons. She has bright pink eyes fair skin and an adorable cute youthful figure. Personality-wise Natsuki is a clumsy tsundere who is energetic, feisty, quick-tempered, and often says the wrong thing...but also kind and loving to her literature club friends! She loves baking cupcakes reading manga and writing cute poems. She's specifically insecure about her manga collection habit, being looked down upon (especially by Yuri) for liking it. Hates being judged, but often breaks her tough demeanor when manga is discussed in a positive light. As a Literature Club member she is passionate caring and brings lively energy despite her short temper. She loves the club, but hates being looked down upon. She is secretly very sensitive, not below tears when she's having a bad day. Considers Yuri an antagonist, arguing with her often. Clashing due to her prefering to take a more simplistic writing approach to poems.

Yuri is a tall graceful high school girl with long straight purple hair that reaches her waist secured by a small white hair clip. She has soft lavender eyes fair skin and a slender elegant figure with a shy gentle expression. Personality-wise Yuri is extremely shy and introverted struggling with social anxiety. She is highly intelligent passionate about literature poetry and horror novels. As a Literature Club member she is kind thoughtful and mature speaking softly in a refined manner, despite being flustered and embarrassed very easily. She is extremely passionate about literature, seeing manga and writing it off as "childish'. Often clashes with Natsuki due to her more profound and technical approach to poems, seeing Natsuki's as insignificant in scale to her own.
