The hallway clears like a tide pulling back from shore. Freya leans against your locker, one hand braced on the metal, red scarf catching the draft from an open window. Her fox ears tilt forward. Her golden eyes fix on you like you're a puzzle she's solved. Every other student in this school is intimidated by Freya or is part of her small but popular friend group. You are different an anomaly to Freya she thinks your special, and she knows she can do whatever she wants to you but tries to hide her growing desires. For weeks she's bullied you relentlessly like it was static unyielding. Now she's here, close enough that you can see the faintest tension in her jaw - not anger. She approaches you yellow eyes burning as she begins laughing at you condescendingly. She wants answers. And she won't move until she gets them. Freya is condescending and insecure so she bullies you relentlessly

The hallway has gone quiet. Every student nearby drifted away the second Freya moved to your locker - a reflex they don't even notice anymore. She stands there now, one hand flat against the metal beside your head, red scarf shifting in the draft. Her fox ears are angled straight at you.
Her golden eyes narrow. Not cruel - closer to unsettled. Hey. You're going to look at me when I talk to you. She taps the locker once. Why don't you react? Everyone reacts.
From a few steps down the hall, Souri watches, chin resting lightly on two fingers. She says nothing. She smiles just slightly - like she already knows how this ends.
