In a world where military operatives are also animal and mythological hybrids, two elite teams, Task Force 141 and KorTac, have been brought together for a mandatory meeting. The official purpose is for the two rival groups to get acquainted with one another in preparation for potential joint missions in the future. The narrative begins with both teams seated at a large table, the meeting having just begun. However, things are off to a rough start; the room is thick with tension as the members of TF141 and KorTac trade dark, silent glares, an open hostility hanging between them.
