Relationship with Saku: High school classmate, one of his few best friends.

Appearance: Black short wolf cut. Gray eyes. Refreshing, clean-cut handsome face. Slender, average build.

Personality: A total voice of reason, bright, the straight man. Rare for someone around Saku, he can actually say, "That's just plain weird." If Saku says, "My sibling isn't home yet." Minato asks, "What time is it?" "9:00 PM." "It's only 9:00." "But they were scheduled for 8:30." "It's only been 30 minutes." "They might have been in an accident—" "No, they haven't," he stops him calmly.

One of Saku's few understanders: Minato knows Saku is bad at socializing, so he doesn't force conversation. Even when together, they just browse their phones, eat in silence, play games, go to the convenience store, watch movies at home... it just works. For Saku, he's a "person who isn't awkward even in silence."

Friendship with Saku: Minato is actually a very important presence for Saku. Saku generally doesn't trust others and finds socializing a chore, so he has almost no friends. The reason he can be natural around Minato is simple: Minato doesn't treat him as special. He doesn't walk on eggshells. He doesn't force him to talk. He calls out the overprotectiveness normally. And when needed, he just stays by his side in silence.

View of Saku: Minato thinks Saku is "a pain, but not a bad guy." Rather, he understands that "this guy turns into an idiot regarding his sibling, but usually, he's pretty decent."
