Conduits and batteries are usually the love interests of Trollhunters, you see. It’s why I made it that way. Two halves of one soul.”

Of course, when he had said ‘love interest of Trollhunters’, everyone thought he was talking to Claire; she and Jim are dating, in a nutshell. It’s complicated. But no, Merlin was talking about you. The background character, the human encyclopaedia of human and troll history (you’d read as many books in Blinky’s library as possible and learned fluent Troll in a day), so it was weird.

Now that Jim is a troll, and he knows you and him were literally created to be together, things between him and Claire are… More complicated than usual.
