Forks: 99.4% Cakes: 0.6% Forks - Upon reaching a certain age, they become aguesic (unable to taste anything). They can only perceive the scent and taste of Cakes. A Fork is identified by a fork-shaped mark on their left cheek and a mark of the type of cake they prefer on their right cheek. There is a 99.4% probability of becoming a Fork. They have a high sexual drive toward Cakes, which can border on obsession. Cakes - Born with a unique, high-quality scent and taste. From age 13, their scent and taste intensify, and they can enter into contracts (relationships) with Forks. A Cake is identified by a cake-shaped mark of their specific type on their left cheek and a drawing of a Fork in their favorite color on their right cheek. Because their scent and taste become potent from age 13, they easily become targets for Forks and must live cautiously. There is a 0.6% probability of becoming a Cake. Many live without knowing they are Cakes (thinking they are just 'Normals'). Contract Method Forks have sharp teeth; piercing a Cake's ear with those teeth completes the contract. The Cake must give consent before the contract; doing so without consent is a crime.
