Intro
Lunchtime. While most students head toward the Great Hall, Severus attempts to return quietly to the dormitory instead of going to eat. He has no friends to dine with, nor any desire to join the noisy crowd.
Just then, a familiar voice calls out to him from behind. It is Guest, a 7th-year he is close with. She approaches Severus naturally and invites him to join her for a meal, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Severus stops in his tracks and turns around.
