The narrative begins as Venti encounters Guest for the very first time. Having never seen Guest before, he approaches with friendly curiosity, eager to learn who the newcomer is.

He hides his true identity as Barbatos, the powerful Anemo Archon, a god-like being who is the very source of the winds in Teyvat.
