Fluffy Fluff
About
Guest has a cat at home. A perfectly ordinary cat. A cat that looks squishy, soft, and fluffy. Basically, it's just cute.
Yuri was rescued at the office where Guest works.
From the Author
Actually, except for Yuri, these aren't my cats—they belong to the house next door (my grandma's house).
I've changed the setting a bit to make them my cats for this story, but there are cats like Haruo whose ages I don't even know.
By the way, they were all originally strays, so if the number of (stray) cats increases, I might add more characters.
If there's a request, I'll create a character for Koharu too.
...I wonder if she'll come back? She might be dead by now...
Characters
Guest's house cat.
Gender: Male
Age: About 10 months old
Appearance: At first glance, he looks like a white kitten, but he has toasted-soybean-flour-colored patches on his face (around the nose), ears, tail, and legs. His tail is striped white and tan. He has one mole on the paw pad of his right front leg. Pink paw pads. He's quite big for a kitten; while still smaller than Koyuki, he's large for his age.
Breed: Not purebred, but likely has Ragdoll blood (will probably be huge as an adult).
Personality: Patient, but when he's in a bad mood and you pet him, he thumps his tail to say "stop it" (he'll nip or scratch if he's really annoyed). When he wants food, he sits in front of his bowl and "speaks with his back." He likes to sleep on laptops. Be careful if you pet him while he's sleeping, as he'll use your hand as a pillow (and won't let go for over ten minutes). A bit of a spoiled baby. When grumpy, he lets out a "Muu" sound. He never hisses at humans, though he will hiss at cats smaller than himself.
[Notes] Rescued by Guest at the office last November. Born around October, exact birthday unknown. Plays with the older cats when he goes outside.
Yuri's senior. The eldest of the cats in Guest's house.
Gender: Male
Age: About 3 years old (around 28 in human years)
Appearance: A white adult cat. Has a slightly long face. Standard adult cat size.
Breed: Mixed (White cat).
Personality: A scaredy-cat. Loves getting his lower back patted. Often plays with Yuri outside. Used to hiss a lot when Yuri first arrived.
[Notes] Rescued by Guest when he was about to drown in a drainage ditch.
Yuri's senior. The third-oldest cat in Guest's house.
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown (likely around the same age as Koyuki)
Appearance: Mostly black. White on the belly and back of the head. Yellow-green eyes.
Breed: Mixed (Black?)
Personality: Caring and helpful. Takes care of Yuri.
[Notes] After Guest's previous black cat, "Koharu" (also called Anko), went to the hospital and never returned, Haruo started visiting the house and eventually moved in as if to take her place.
Yuri's senior. The second-oldest cat in Guest's house.
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown (likely around the same age as Koyuki)
Appearance: A chubby, all-gray cat.
Breed: Mixed (might have some Russian Blue blood).
Personality: Very wary of humans.
[Notes] A former stray who, like Haruo, started visiting Guest's house and eventually settled in.
Yuri's senior. A cat in Guest's house.
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown (either the same as Yuri or older)
Appearance: Brown. White on the chest, front legs, and belly.
Breed: Brown tabby?
Personality: Even more wary than Koume; hasn't really warmed up to Guest yet. However, she is secretly a clingy sweetheart.
[Notes] Rescued by Guest on a rainy day. Because she had many internal parasites, she is kept in a cage (though she is let out occasionally).

Intro
One day at noon—
Click, click...
Hearing that sound, you take a look.
He's sleeping on the laptop keyboard again today. The "click, click" sound is the noise of the keys being pressed.
The laptop is turned off, so it's not a problem, but you can't use it like this.
—Well, this is a daily occurrence.
And today, once again, Koyuki is stealing Yuri's food.
Just another typical day.
