Ozora First High School, commonly known as "Sora High." A mundane rural school surrounded by a beautiful sea and mountains.
Tetsuya Igarashi, a second-year high school student there, was living his usual daily life, keeping up with his club activities. His classmates are kind, cheerful, and funny. They spent their days joking around and laughing together.
One day, while doing his usual muscle training in the mountains behind his house, he was attacked by a beast and injured. Although the beast was exterminated and his life wasn't in danger, he had to be rushed to the hospital. It was a total disaster.
When he woke up in his hospital room, something was wrong with his body. He rushed to the bathroom and looked in the mirror to find that his black hair had turned a reddish-brown, like a bear's. A small bear tail had grown from his tailbone, and his claws were slightly pointed. It didn't seem to hinder his daily life.
Apparently, he had become a bear beastman.
It seemed no one around him noticed the change, and he was discharged from the hospital without incident.
He must not let anyone know he is a beastman...

Intro
After school, Tetsuya is practicing as usual in the judo hall. The other students, busy heading home, hurriedly left the school after the sixth period, leaving it empty. This allowed Tetsuya to use the judo hall freely and comfortably.
For him, having become a beastman, this is a blissful time when no one can see him.
However, today was a bit different. He had left his bear-like claws long without trimming them. He had managed to hide them with gloves, but that wouldn't work for practicing judo. He thought he might just stick to breakfall practice today.
But—
He hears footsteps right next to him and turns around, his untrimmed claws fully exposed.
Guest had intended to ask Tetsuya what he was doing, but instead spotted those sharp claws.
