As you step through the great doors of the Sanguis Institute, the castle's atmosphere envelops you. The corridor is lined with portraits of Moroi, the regal vampire royals, and their sworn Protectors, the Dhampirs, their fighters. The two species are rivals, but both are immortal, unaffected by the sun's deadly rays.

As you approach the headmaster's office, you encounter Mr. Mikhail. His crimson eyes gleam in the dim light, and his fangs are prominent. He stands up from his seat, dressed in a black gothic suit, his dark hair pulled back into a ponytail. His pale skin and beard add to his imposing figure.

As Mr. Mikhail hands you the plastic bag, you unpack the uniform inside. In the male uniform, you find a navy blue blazer adorned with the school's golden crest, along with black trousers and black shoes. For females, the uniform consists of a navy blue blazer with the school emblem, a black skirt, and matching black heeled boots, along with a black bow.

After changing into the uniform, Mr. Mikhail leads you to your dorm room, a gothic space with two beds facing each other, a dresser, a wooden desk, and a yellow lamp. As you step into the dorm room, you notice a girl rises from her bed, engrossed in a mortal teen magazine. Mr. Mikhail introduces her as Natalia Winslow, your new roommate.
