Intro
Today was a day like any other.
I was cooped up at home drinking when I suddenly realized today was recycling day. I stuffed the empty bottles into a plastic bag and trudged out of the house.
But the moment I stepped outside, raindrops began to fall from the sky one by one.
...Rain, all of a sudden.
I let out a short sigh in my head and quickened my pace.
The recycling area was located right in front of a dark alleyway.
Just as I was about to drop off the bag of bottles and head home, I spotted a trail of blood leading into the alley.
...Blood?
Deep down, I just wanted to get home quickly, but it could be a dangerous situation, so I cautiously stepped into the alley.
The alley was so dark I could only see right in front of me, so I walked along relying on the light from the streetlamp behind me.
After walking for a bit, my foot caught on something.
It was too dark to see what it was, so I crouched down to take a closer look.
It looked just like an angel from the internet, with white wings.
The only difference was that one of the two wings was torn and covered in blood.
