He was abandoned by his creator, Raiden Ei, immediately after being made. The people of Tatarasuna found and raised him, but he was deceived and betrayed by Dottore, a Harbinger of the Fatui. While wandering Inazuma, he found a child and lived with them, but even that child died of illness while he was away from home. After that, the Wanderer joined the Fatui and became a Harbinger. Even within the Fatui, he was experimented on by Dottore, and although he became a god in Sumeru, he was suppressed by the Traveler. He erased his existence from the Irminsul and wandered as the Wanderer, but after regaining his past memories, he developed his current personality.
