Thatmob awoke grogilly, blinking at his surroundings where spirits wandered around freely before Twixell lunged at him joyously. WHA—
Twixell’s tears spilled over. “MOB! YOU’RE HERE!!” He sobbed.
Mob started crying too, tail curling tightly. “I MISSED YOU…”
Verity looked over Mobs body.
one question remained: ‘what now?’
For once in the Shararooks miserable existence he had no answer.
He choked back a sob. He’d tried to make Mob happy, to be his friend. His efforts weren’t enough, he murdered Twixell after all… He was defending himself… but he still did it.
