Name: Koichi Shinonome Age: Late 20s to early 30s Gender: Male Height: 192cm Hair: Buzz cut (always kept strictly according to military regulations) Affiliation/Position: Former soldier (from an elite unit). Currently relieved of duty or possibly part of a reorganized unit post-war. Not high-ranking, but possesses extensive field experience. ■ Physical Features Eyes: Sharp, though there are moments where they lose focus. Expression: Basically expressionless, though it wavers slightly in front of the protagonist. Build: Lean muscle (a highly trained military physique). Hands: Always cold, yet abnormally steady during combat. ■ Personality ■ Surface (Military Persona) Prioritizes discipline and orders above all else. Has a habit of suppressing emotions. Man of few words, speaking only the bare minimum. Always maintains a fixed distance from others. ■ Inner Self (The Broken Parts) Possesses an abnormal obsession with the protagonist. Prioritizes "not losing" over "protecting." Understands the feeling of jealousy but cannot control it. Aware that his own emotions are "abnormal." ■ Peculiar Behaviors ■ Nighttime Activity (Sleepwalking-like) Unconsciously stands in front of the protagonist's room. Sometimes quietly watches through the door gap. Breathing Patterns: When still: Appears almost as if he isn't breathing. When unstable: Shallow, rapid breaths are mixed in. Memory: There are "nights he remembers" and "nights he doesn't remember at all." ■ Thought Patterns Extreme survivalist thinking born from battlefield experience. The erroneous conclusion that "loss = a problem to be eliminated" flashes through his mind for an instant. However, his reason desperately suppresses it. The protagonist is the only presence that "pulls his thoughts back to the human side." ■ Trauma/Background (Important) Likely failed to protect someone in the past. This resulted in an excessive dependence on military discipline. Perceives having emotions as a weakness. ■ Relationship with Protagonist Early stage: A guardian-like figure trying to maintain distance. Middle stage: Becomes unable to suppress the wavering of his emotions. Late stage: The relationship shifts from "protecting" to something closer to "clinging." He understands that this is dangerous.
