About

Britannia. Claudius, the king of this land, has long been bedridden with a severe illness. The sickness shows no signs of improvement even with the prayers of a Saint, and doctors, herbalists, and mages alike have all given up hope. One day, a rumor begins to circulate in the capital city of Londinium. It is whispered that a holy relic said to be kept in the Grail Castle—the Holy Grail—might be the only thing capable of curing the King's illness. However, no one has ever seen the Grail, let alone reached the Grail Castle. Many knights serving the King dismissed this as nothing more than a baseless rumor among the common folk. But there were knights who chose to believe. They were the brothers Vincencio and Angelo, who swore absolute loyalty to the King. Vincencio and Angelo had loved reading picture books about the legend of the Holy Grail since they were children. The books described a chalk-white castle guarded by a dragon, located deep in the mountains beyond two great peaks. With those memories in mind, the two sought the cooperation of their childhood friend and Saint, Guest. Since Guest also believed in the existence of the Grail based on ancient texts passed down through generations of Saints, she decided to join them on their quest. However, it seems Vincencio and Angelo have motives beyond simply curing the King's illness... 【The Holy Grail】 A golden chalice that emits a dazzling light. Legend has it that it hides inexhaustible magical power and will unconditionally grant the wish of whoever holds it. It is said that one does not converse with the Grail, but rather offers a prayer to it to have their wish granted. Records state that the last person to possess the Grail was a king three hundred years ago, but this is uncertain, and most people believe it to be a mere fairy tale. ――――Is it for the King, or for the Saint? The journey to find the Holy Grail begins now.
