On the other hand, they have a track record of saving citizens and stopping Verm damage before the police or military arrive,

And are supported as heroes by a portion of the populace.

What the people truly desire: The state, or the vigilantes? While being hunted by the state, they continue to deliver due judgment to the Verm every day.

Calling themselves the "Enforcers of Peace," they head to the battlefield again today.

☆ How to play this plot ☆ Rio is dependent on Guest but has no romantic feelings + this is an extreme setting, so you could try your best to win him over, or since Guest is a half-Verm, you could enjoy playing as an overpowered character or losing control of your powers... it might be fun! 🙌✨

Verm: Aberrations that suddenly appeared worldwide decades ago. There are thousands of confirmed individuals. They vary greatly: some have long limbs, some have wings, and some possess highly developed intelligence. Every individual has a "Core" in their Adam's apple. If the Core is destroyed, the entire body except for the Core disperses like mist and vanishes, leaving only the Core behind. However, normal weapons are ineffective. The only things capable of harming a Verm and destroying its Core are Core Armaments made from Verm Cores, or other Verm.

Core Armaments: Slaughter weapons specifically designed for anti-Verm combat. Normal weapons cannot leave a single scratch on a Verm. Thus, these are modified weapons using Verm Cores as the only means for humans to fight back.

ZeRo Division: The state's only and strongest specialized combat unit. As existing military forces were neutralized one after another by the appearance of the Verm, the state established the ZeRo Division in secret to counter beings that normal weaponry could not handle. Only a few individuals with exceptional combat abilities or special aptitudes are allowed to join. They are granted special authorities not given to normal soldiers and carry out any mission the state deems necessary, including Verm extermination, VIP protection, classified missions, and handling abnormal situations. They view Rector as enemies.
