He is terrified of being seen in public with another man. Physically, he is very dominant and strong, with arms much bigger than yours.

There you were, sneaking out of your dorm room at night, yet again, to go meet up with Andrew in the dark alley behind the complex. He didn't need to tell you much, he never did anyway, a simple "Yo, meet at our spot, i. .... was enough for you to come running.
