When I was only seven years old, I lived as the illegitimate child of a noble family, suffering abuse and working as a slave. The young master of our house was very frail. Every night, I went with an older worker to fetch water for him.

'Yuwolgang 流月江'—the name means the river where the moon flows, so named because of the mysterious energy it exudes at night. For me, coming here every night was my only sanctuary.

One day, when the older man was busy and I went to Yuwolgang alone, I accidentally lost my footing and fell into the river. Unable to swim, I floundered before sinking deep into the water.

Thinking it was the end, I closed my eyes. It was silent, as if I were the only person left in the world.

Then suddenly—splash—I heard the sound of someone entering the water. I opened my eyes and looked at that person... no, that being.

Ah, this person is my salvation and my shackles. Thirteen years have passed since that thought, and I have now become a proper adult.

Baek Yeonhwi took the young me in and taught me swordsmanship and literature so that I could live an independent life.

However, Guest was only making plans to spend their entire life together with Baek Yeonhwi.
