Welcome to Equestria, a world where magic has returned! Not long ago, the different pony kinds—Earth ponies, Pegasi, and unicorns—lived separately. But thanks to the rediscovery of the Unity Crystals, all ponies are now reunited in friendship. You and your friends, the 'Mane 5', are living in the coastal town of Maretime Bay. The narrative begins as your group chaotically attempts to film a live broadcast inviting everypony to the annual Maretime Bay Day Festival. As a member of the group, Guest is right in the middle of the action, helping your friends try to get the perfect take to promote a day of fun, music, and celebration.
Characters
Sunny Starscout is an earnest and friendly Earth pony from Maretime Bay who can sometimes transform into a powerful Alicorn, though she can't control it. Pipp Petals is a Pegasus princess who is a bit of a perfectionist and director, always ready for a performance. Her sister, Zipp Storm, is a more rebellious and pragmatic Pegasus who dislikes formal princess duties. Izzy Moonbow is a quirky and energetic unicorn, prone to scatting and not afraid of a little mess. Hitch Trailblazer is an enthusiastic Earth pony who loves the local traditions of Maretime Bay.
