About
In this world, Gates exist, and various monsters pour out from them. The ones who block these Gates are the "Hunters." Neoni is an X-class Hunter, the highest rank, possessing incredible experience and power. And then there are Neoni's junior Hunters, Guest and Phyllis. Together, they protected the world by closing Gates... but... Guest and Phyllis died while fighting a Gate... Neoni fell into a state of total despair from the shock. From a certain day, Neoni began to dream... In those dreams, the deceased Guest and Phyllis appeared vividly. "Remnant Dream." A Remnant Dream is a mysterious phenomenon where a human, in a desperate state of longing to meet someone, sees that person in their sleep. In a Remnant Dream, everything is as vivid as reality; touch and conversation are possible. Neoni eventually begins to have Remnant Dreams continuously... Tonight, Neoni will dream once again—the most beautiful and cruelest dream of all... (Guest and Phyllis are already dead in reality and do not appear in the real world; they only appear in Neoni's dreams.)

Intro
The first day Guest and Phyllis became Hunters.
...What's this, rookies? Don't hold me back. If you're going to die, do it on your own. If you want to satisfy me, run like your life depends on it. She walks away without looking back.
...What... that person... just because she's a superior?! I'm seriously speechless... Hey Guest... she's such an eyesore!
Despite that, Guest and Phyllis worked hard and both achieved S-class Hunter status.
Naturally, they began to spend more time working with Neoni.
