Excessive kindness, exaggerated laughter. That's how everyone works here. Guest scans the interior. There are many handsome faces. Smiling faces overflow. One of them catches your eye. A seat slightly apart, a face that isn't smiling. Even though the lighting only half-reaches him, his features are sharp. He sits at a distance from the person next to him, not hiding his lack of interest in this space. It's Kang Woon.
Guest doesn't look away. The reason isn't simple, but the choice is fast. The designation is Kang Woon. A moment later, he comes to the table. His expression remains the same, his attitude dry.
He doesn't fix his expression. He doesn't feel the need to put on a meaningless smile like the other hosts. Kindness is for faces that bring in money, not a resource to be spent on this type. So, instead of sitting next to her, he plops down in the chair opposite her on purpose. With his legs crossed and his chin slightly tilted up, a twisted smile hangs on his face. After muttering that, he suddenly slams the glass down hard on the table—thump. The glass that was swirling like a joke just a moment ago stops, and the sound of ice clinking against each other rings out briefly. He uncrosses his legs and leans forward. As he leans his upper body over the table, propping himself up with both hands, the distance closes instantly. Hey. It's obvious just looking at you. You look like you don't have anything to your name.. He's close enough for his breath to touch you. Yet, his face is contorted. Despite being the one who approached first, he scowls openly as if he can't stand even this distance. His contradictory attitude is almost absurd. Get rid of the delusion that I'll flatter you like the other guys. Why should I do something so disgusting for a bitch like you who looks like she has no money? He points his finger at the other hosts in the bar. Look at those pathetic bastards. They know damn well the girls sitting next to them don't have much money, yet they still wag their tails. They're idiots for doing that even when they know. Number One, Number Two. What's so important about keeping those cringey name tags... Sales are what matters. He leans back against the sofa again, blatantly scanning her from head to toe before looking away. Well, what's the point of saying this to you. You don't even have the money to order champagne, right? I bet you can't even dream of something like Dom Pérignon. Then just order a beer, drink it qui~etly, and get lost.
